Ethan and his team are sent to Berlin to intercept them, but the mission fails when Ethan saves Luther and the Apostles escape with the plutonium. With CIA agent August Walker joining the team, Ethan and his allies must now find the plutonium cores before it's too late.

After a mission goes wrong and anarchist Solomon Lane (Sean Harris) escapes custody, Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team are blamed and their loyalty is questioned. They attempt to fulfill their initial mission and recapture Lane while also trying to outrun a ruthless CIA agent (Henry Cavill) tasked with taking them out. Following the capture of Solomon Lane, the remaining members of 'Syndicate' have become known as 'The Apostles' and Ethan receives a message about one of their members called John Lark set to buy 3 plutonium cores from black arms dealers in Berlin, Germany and how John also had a Russian nuclear weapons specialist captured (Ethan did). At the buy, Ethan poses as John Lark but things don't go well when Luther is taken hostage with Ethan choosing to save Luther but the 3 plutonium cores go missing. Ethan then interrogates the weapons specialist in the hospital while he is watching a CNN news story of the plutonium cores having caused an attack on Jerusalem, The Vatican and Mecca. The specialist agrees to give Ethan the code to his laptop to track John Lark if John's testimony about there being no peace without first a great suffering being read on CNN. After this occurs, the specialist gives the code with it turning out that the whole CNN news story was faked and no attacks have occurred as of yet. Ethan finds out about John set to buy the plutonium cores from a woman called the 'White Widow' at a gala in Paris, France. She runs a charitable organisation which in secret deals weapons and nuclear arms. CIA agent August Walker accompanies Ethan to Paris in order to keep an eye on him due to having lost the plutonium cores in Berlin. During their HALO jump out of the plane, Walker is struck by lightning but Ethan manages to save his life after providing him with his own oxygen and the 2 successfully manage to land accordingly. At the gala, they find John Lark with the intention of Ethan stealing his face and voice to pose as him for the white widow. John ends up fighting back at them in the toilets however where Ilsa unexpectedly shows up and kills Lark. Ethan then goes to the white widow pretending to be Lark with Ilsa warning him that if he does, he will die as many operatives are in Paris to kill Lark. Ethan is successful in winning the widow's trust but it turns out she only has 1 plutonium core and that for the other 2 cores, Solomon Lane must be handed to her courier (Whom is working for The Apostles) in London, England. The only way to do this is extract Lane from a police transfer whom since being captured, has been interrogated and interviewed by many governments around the world. Ilsa also ends up revealing that she is being forced to kill Lane by British intelligence due to all the secrets he has on them. After a long series of events, Ethan manages to have Lane abducted to await exchange of him to the widow's courier for the 2 cores. Also, Walker provides documents to Salone with a theory on how Ethan might in fact be John Lark based on losing the cores in Berlin as well as pretending to be Lark in Paris as a means to frame him. The team then get ready to have Benji take on Lane's appearance and voice due to not intending to actually hand him over. Walker is then shockingly revealed to be in allegiance to Lane and the real John Lark when he states to a captured Lane how the deal was for him to get all 3 cores in exchange for framing Hunt meaning he already has the 2 cores to begin with. Also, it is revealed that there is no courier but that the widow is actually a CIA employee who needs Lane to buy her good will following several bad calls in the past. It turns out Walker has confessed this to Benji and not Lane which has also been recorded. He ends up killing IMF director Hanley and escapes along with Lane with Ethan pursuing Walker. Based on a tracking device Luther implanted in Lane, the team find out he is headed to Kashmir. Benji also discovers that if 1 core (bomb) was to be disarmed, the other would immediately begin countdown. After eventually arriving in Kashmir, Benji finds out that the only way to disarm the 2 bombs is by removing the key from the remote detonator but only after the countdown on both cores has been initiated. Disarming the 2 cores before the key has been removed will result in the cores going off. They also realise that based on the location of the 2 cores, Walker plans to wipe out the entire water supply of China, Pakistan and India and cause 1/3 of the world's population to starve. They head to a medical facility in Kashmir which is where they track Lane but Ethan instead finds Julia who was placed there by Walker to scare him away and that she has also remarried. Luther and Julia manage to find the 1st core and after the 15 Minute countdown begins, they begin to disarm it with Benji and Ilsa going after the location of the 2nd. Two helicopters take off from Kashmir with the detonator being in the possession of Walker. Ethan manages to grab onto the payload of the 2nd helicopter and climb up to the inside where he takes out both the driver and his guard and takes control of the helicopter. A lengthy chase then occurs with Ethan pursuing Walker whom is in the other helicopter. Ilsa manages to find the 2nd core but is knocked out and tied up by Lane whom also takes Benji captive. She manages to break out and knock out Lane as well as save Benji and the 2 of them begin to disarm the 2nd core. Ethan manages to ram Walker's helicopter and also causes the hook on his helicopter to set off steam from his helicopter which disfigures him. The 2 then take part in a lengthy fight which ends with the 2 hanging off the Helicopter rope but Ethan manages to have the hook hit Walker in the face where he falls along with the helicopter and dies. Ethan then removes the key from the detonator 1 second before Benji and Ilsa disarm the 2nd core. Solomon is once again captured and taken to MI6 and Julia thanks Ethan for giving her the life she currently has based on his willingness to do good.

Faced with a cruel and equally challenging decision, Dominika Egorova, a famous Russian prima ballerina for the renowned Bolshoi Ballet, sees her brilliant career end abruptly, and as a result, her shady uncle, Vanya Egorov, sends her to serve the state. Now, after intensive training on close combat, guns, and sexual manipulation, Dominika, the newest agent of the secret Sparrow School, can use her body as a weapon against prestigious targets. Ballerina Dominika Egorova's career endures a setback when she breaks her leg during a performance. After recovering, she tries to get back her role through doing a favour for her uncle, a senior officer in the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service ('SVR'). This makes her a witness to a murder, putting her life in danger. In order to stay alive she joins the SVR and receives training as a 'Sparrow', a female espionage agent. Her first assignment: seduce a CIA agent in Budapest and find out the name of his mole in Moscow.

Deputy director of the Russian secret service SVR Vanya Egorov eagerly recruits his niece Dominika Egorova when her career as Bolshoi star ballerina is crushed by a fall, which he proves the work of a rival who seduced the male lead to drop her causing her leg to break irreparably. After taking bloody revenge, she is blackmailed with the loss of all Bolsoi privileges, notably expensive private medical care for her terminal mother. After a single job, seducing an oligarch, actually meant as a test, she is made to join the Red Sparrow state school for sexual seducers, mostly recruited from the military. Headstrong she shows potential pleasing SVR general Korchnoi enough to overturn the school commander's negative reports and assign her to the field. Her mark is CIA agent Nate Nash, who erroneously betrayed his mole, but with whom she develops a romantic relationship of trust, while Vanya's henchman Matorin remains around for the bloody work. After she bitterly turns on Vanya, a game-changing surprise topples all.

Dominika Egorova (Jennifer Lawrence) is a lead ballerina in the Bolshoi Company for Russia. The company takes care of her and her ailing mother, Nina (Joely Richardson). After the lead male ballet dancer falls on and breaks Dominika's leg during a performance, her career is over.

Dominika's uncle, Ivan Egorova (Matthias Schoenaerts), suggests that she work for him in the Russian Intelligence as an assassin as the Bolshoi won't pay for her mother's medical bills much longer. Dominkia agrees, for her mother. Her target is Dimitri Ustinov (Kristof Konrad) who rapes her but during the act a stranger (later revealed to be Simyonov (Sergej Onopko) strangles Dimitri to death.

Dominika is then placed into Sparrow school as the alternative is death as a witness to the murder. Dominika is put through various lessons and situations under the Matron's (Charlotte Rampling) tutelage.

Dominika is removed earlier than expected to carry out a mission under her uncle and General Vladimir Korchnoi (Jeremy Irons). The target is an American CIA operative, Nate Nash (Joel Edgerton). She is to find out the name of his Russian contact. She is placed in a rooming flat with Marta (Thekla Reuten) who also went to Sparrow school.

Nate has convinced Dominika to become a double agent and work with the CIA.

Dominika reveals to Marta that she was there when Dimitri Ustinov was killed. Marta takes that information over to Maxim Volontov (Douglas Hodge), their superior, which gets Marta skinned and gutted in the bathroom for Dominika to find.

Dominika, under a lie detector test, tells Marty (Bill Camp) and Trish (Sakina Jaffrey), Nate's superiors, about Marta's mission with an American chief-of-staff, Stephanie Boucher (Mary-Louise Parker) code name Swan who is providing Russia with information.

With Marta out of the way, Dominika and Maxim make the exchange with Stephanie. Unfortunately, Stephanie is drunk and gets spooked in front of a bus which kills her. Dominika is taken back to Russia for questioning and torture. Maxim is shot in the head while Dominika is allowed back in the field to find the mole.

Dominika and Nate reunite. Dominika awakes to find Nate gagged, partly tied to a chair and Simyonov strangling him. Dominika joins in the torture tying Nate fully to the chair. Suddenly she turns on Simyonov and stabs him. A fight ensues ending with Simyonov dead while Dominika and Nate are badly injured.

Dominika awakes in a hospital. The General approaches her and reveals that he is the mole. His reason is that an angry Russians official wouldn't allow an American to operate on his sick and dying wife. He allows Dominika to do what she wishes with this information as he is resigned to his fate.

Dominika identifies the mole's name to Zakharov (Ciarán Hinds) via phone. An exchange is made between Dominika and a masked man who is believed to be the Russian contact. When the mask is unveiled, it is the uncle who has undergone torture. Then a flashback to various events that Dominika did to set up her uncle for this moment. The uncle is shot in the head before he reaches the Americans.

In the final scene, Dominika is decorated with the General and Matron in the audience. Dominika is shown at home with her mother. She gets a call, and it is ballet music like Nate played for her as a calling card.

A psychedelic tale of a quiet logger named Red who lives a life of serenity with his wife, in their dream cabin in the woods. But when the leader of a deranged cult becomes enamored with Red's wife, he and his people terrorize the couple, leaving Red spiraling into madness.The psychodelic goes full grindhouse as Red, armed with a battle axe and any drugs he can find, goes on a violent rampage, enacting his revenge on the cult in the most gruesome ways.

Secluded from the rest of the world, nestled deep in the bosom of a perpetually cold and gloomy forest somewhere in the vast early-1980s Shadow Mountains, the quiet lumberjack, Red Miller, and his gentle artist girlfriend, Mandy Bloom, live a peaceful life. Then, a fateful encounter with the drug-addled spiritual leader of the delusional Children of the New Dawn cult, Jeremiah Sand, will pave the way for pain and sacrifice, as the cannibalistic and LSD-ridden biker gang of the Black Skulls robs Miller of his happiness. Now, a pained Red on the verge of insanity and his blood-thirsty battle axe crave retribution, and no force on Earth can stop them. Can blood appease the restless dead?

The film begins with a bizarre text which reads, "When I die, Bury me deep, Lay two speakers at my feet, Wrap some speakers around my head, And rock and roll me."

It then opens on a scene with a lumberjack named Red Miller ( Nicolas Cage ), working in the forest before leaving in a helicopter. It then turns to show his wife Mandy ( Andrea Riseborough ) sketching predatory animals and smoking marijuana. Red returns home to Mandy and talk about planets and stars as well as the Marvel character "Galactus." Mandy and Red are then shown in a montage that shows them in a beautiful lake on a boat, and then looking at each other through fire, looking at each other as if they know something terrible awaits them. Mandy then wanders into the woods and finds a dead fawn, symbolizing the death of innocence. Mandy tells Red of a time in which she was younger and almost peer-pressured into killing a starling. Upon reading a dark fantasy novel, Mandy begins to fear that something evil will happen to her. Upon traveling a road, she passes a truck with its passenger, Jeremiah Sand, eyeing her mysteriously. Jeremiah becomes obsessed with Mandy and tells his acolytes of how he NEEDS Mandy. Brother Swan and Lucy, apostles of Sand, call up a team of Satanic deformed Bikers. Swan gives them a jug of hideous LSD which they take and demand another sacrifice, stating, "Blood for Blood." Mandy is kidnapped by Sand's apostles, an old whore named Marlene among them, where they drug Mandy and Marlene stings her in the throat with a giant wasp, calling it "The Cherry on Top."

A delirious Mandy is brought before Sand. Sand explains that he was a failed musician who "Found God" and founded a religious cult, before exposing himself to her, to which she laughs hysterically, enraging Sand into believing that he is being rejected. Sand brings his sister Lucy before Red, who he has captured and tied up with barbed wire. He seeks to demonstrate Lucy's love for Sand by forcing her to shoot herself in the temple. Red screams for her to stop but she pulls the trigger, which it revealed to be empty. Swan then comes and presents Red with a blade. Sand compares himself to Jesus and calls Red a "soulless pig" before stabbing him with the blade. Many is then dragged out in a bag, hung by a tree and then burned to death before Red. Red screams in horror and pulls himself free from the bonds, and mourns over Mandy's ashes. A broken Red returns home and watches a bizarre trailer of a "Cheddar Goblin." He falls asleep and has an animated nightmare before awakening and having an emotional breakdown.He goes to his friend's place in a camper, who tells Red that the satanic biker gang is called the "Black Skulls" who became deformed after taking some terrible LSD which made them hideous.

Red forges an ax and heads after the Biker Gang. The title screen of "Mandy" spreads out upon the screen. Red chases after the biker gang, shooting one off his bike with a cross bow before ramming into him with his car. He falls unconscious from the collision and awakens in the "Black Skulls'" Lair, his left hand nailed to the floor. He is beaten by a Black Skull guard before gaining the upper hand by beating him down with a pipe and sending him down a deep chasm nearby. Red arms himself with a box cutter and body armor before investigating the place. He finds a dead elderly couple, obviously victims of the biker gang. He enters another room, seeing a Black Skull watching pornography and snorting cocaine. Red attacks this Black Skull and slits his throat with the box cutter after a brief scuffle, the Black Skull's blood drenching into his face with Red laughing maniacally. He is then attacked by another Black Skull who enters the room with a shotgun. Red attacks him and snaps his neck, getting caught up with joy in the violence. He rewards himself by snorting cocaine off of a broken shard of glass. He then notices a jug of the LSD the bikers have been drinking and takes a small taste of it out of curiosity. He sees a bizarre series of apocalyptic nightmarish scenes before coming to his senses. Red exits the lair and kills the remaining Black Skull with his ax. The Black Skull states, "She's still burning" to which an enraged Red hacks him to pieces after setting him on fire.

Red approaches a nearby tower where he meets the chemist, who had made the LSD which deformed the biker gang. The chemist has a pet tiger which Red frees from a cage after the Chemist receives telepathic information and tells Red to head north to find Sand's lair. Red catches up with Lucy and Swan. He kills Swan by impaling him through the mouth with the bladed handle of his ax. He leaves Lucy, realizing she is merely a Puppet of Sand and no threat to him. He nears the lair of Sand, a converted satanic church where he kills Sand's attacking apostles with his ax and a chainsaw. He enters the church with Marlene who offers her services to him. Red instead decapitates her and taunts Jeremiah Sand with her severed head. Sand at first declares that he is protected by God and will not be hurt by Red, but then whimpers and begs Red for mercy. Red instead seizes him by the head. Sand screams and even offers him oral sex so that he will be saved. Telling Sand, "I'm your God now!" Red crushes Sand's head into jelly before burning the church. He enters his car and drives off, imagining that he is seeing Mandy sitting in the passenger's seat, smiling at him. It is revealed that Red is in a bizarre bloody state of deformity in reality- obviously deformed by his revenge quest and the LSD, and is hallucinating Mandy. As he drives off, it is revealed that the world he is in now is a bizarre inferno of madness that is not our own. The credits are red text on a black screen and is mute as there is no background music to be heard.

Rear Admiral John Fisk sends a Virginia-class submarine, the USS Arkansas, under the command of newly-promoted and unorthodox Commander Joe Glass to investigate. When the USS Tampa Bay submarine that is navigating in Russian waters loses contact with the American base, Captain Joe Glass is assigned to command the USS Arkansas submarine to investigate. They discover the USS Tampa Bay and a Russian submarine sunk with survivors inside. However they are attacked by another Russian submarine hidden under an iceberg but they explode the enemy. Then they rescue the survivors, including the Russian Captain Andropov. Meanwhile a commando led by Lieutenant Bill Beaman is sent to observe a Russian base and they find that a coup d'état is in progress with the defense minister Dmitriy Durov overthrowing the Russian President Nikolai Zakarin. Now Beaman and Glass are assigned to try to rescue Zakarin to avoid a nuclear war, but the only chance to the USS Arkansas reach the Russian base waters is with the help of Captain Andropov. Will he collaborate with Glass?

The U.S. Los Angeles class submarine USS Tampa Bay vanishes while shadowing the Russian Akula-class submarine Konek in the Arctic. Rear Admiral John Fisk (Common) sends the Virginia-class submarine USS Arkansas, under the command of newly-promoted and unorthodox Commander Joe Glass (Gerard Butler) to investigate.

At the same time, a Navy SEAL team under the command of Lieutenant Bill Beaman (Toby Stephens) is sent in to discreetly observe the Russian naval base in Polyarny, Murmansk Oblast, but their mission is swiftly complicated when Martinelli (Zane Holtz), the team's new designated marksman recruit, is rendered injured during the HALO drop. When they arrive at the naval base, they witness defense minister, Admiral of the Fleet Dmitriy Durov (Mikhail Gorevoy), conducting a coup d'état and taking Russian President Nikolai Zakarin (Alexander Dyachenko) prisoner, and swiftly realize that Durov intends to trigger a war. Their location is almost discovered by the Russians during a radio intercept check, the SEALS manage to hide away undetected. Martinelli is injured in the leg by gunfire from a Russian officer who fired stray bullets into their hiding location forcing the team to leave him behind.

Meanwhile, Arkansas discovers the destroyed Tampa Bay, and also finds the sunken Russian submarine Konek damaged in a manner that suggests internal sabotage rather than external attack. They are attacked by another Russian Akula submarine, Volkov, that has been hiding under an iceberg, but Glass is able to destroy the ambusher and rescue Russian survivors from Konek, including its commanding officer, Captain 2nd rank Sergei Andropov (Michael Nyqvist).

Back at base, the U.S. government learns about the coup. Admiral Charles Donnegan (Gary Oldman) recommends preparing for war, while Fisk suggests that Arkansas be sent to rendezvous with Beaman's team after they have rescued Zakarin. Glass manages to convince the reluctant Andropov to help, and with Andropov's knowledge of the minefield around the base, Glass navigates Arkansas near the base undetected. Meanwhile, Beaman's team, with the help of Russian Presidential Security Service Agent Oleg (Yuri Kolokolnikov), who, the SEAL team found by the shoreline of the base wounded after being shot earlier by Durov's men when he tried to stop Durov from holding Zarakin hostage and executing his fellow agents and throwing him and their bodies in the water, infiltrate the base and succeed in retrieving President Zakarin, but lose two teammates, Devin Hall (Michael Trucco) and Matt Johnstone (Ryan McPartlin), in the process. Oleg keeps the renegade Russian military at bay giving Beaman and Zakarin a chance to escape. Oleg is mortally shot multiple times by the Durov's soldiers but he sacrifices himself using hand grenades and mocks the soldiers by having the pulled off safety pins around his middle fingers and flips them off. He is killed in the explosion and takes a few soldiers with him. Beaman delivers the injured president to Arkansas's deep-submergence rescue vehicle, then goes back alone for Martinelli saving him from Russian soldiers about to execute him during a capture.

As U.S. and Russian fleets face off for battle, Arkansas sustains further damage when they are attacked by Andropov's old ship-a heavily armed destroyer now commanded by Captain Vlade Sutrev (Ilia Volok), a member of Durov's conspiracy-but Andropov is able to communicate a message affirming that President Zakarin is aboard the submarine. When Durov orders his forces at the base to fire missiles at the surfaced Arkansas, Glass refuses to take action, recognizing that firing back at the Russians could start the war he is trying to stop. In the last seconds, Andropov's old crew mates defy orders and destroy the incoming missiles with the close-in weapon system before they can strike Arkansas, and subsequently destroy Durov's naval base headquarters with their missiles. With the war averted, Glass docks Arkansas to the Russian naval base to return Zakarin and Andropov's surviving crew to their country. Glass and Andropov bid farewell and confirm their respect for each other. Beaman returns with an injured Martinelli, and Arkansas's crew travels back to the U.S.

The film opens on the wedding day of Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) and Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) with all their friends and family in attendance. After the reception, Christian takes Ana straight to their honeymoon by flying on his private jet to visit Europe, where they naturally consummate. Christian remains protective of Ana when they are at the beach and she is sunbathing topless, concerned that other men will try to make a move on her. Christian takes her back to their room, where more kinky sex ensues.

Back at Grey Enterprises, a man is seen going to the company's data center to plant a bomb. Christian's assistant contacts him and informs him that there was a minor fire but nothing serious. After the couple watches security footage, Ana identifies the suspect as Jack Hyde (Eric Johnson), presumably seeking revenge after Ana and Christian got him fired after he tried to assault Ana.

Upon returning home, Christian hires two bodyguards, Sawyer (Brant Daugherty) and Prescott (Kirsten Alter), to stay by Ana's side wherever she goes. He also hires an assistant, Mrs. Jones (Fay Masterson), to help around the house, but Ana says she wants to cook Christian dinner. During their dinner, Ana makes a joke about being pregnant, which appears to make Christian uncomfortable. She asks if he does want kids, and he says maybe someday.

Ana returns to work at SIP where she is promoted to the senior editor position, though she feels that people will think she only got it thanks to Christian. He visits Ana while she meets with a writer, Boyce Fox (Tyler Hoechlin), with the implication that he is jealous, and he is also upset that Ana still uses her maiden name at work and not Grey.

Christian takes Ana to a house he bought away from the city for the two of them. They meet with the architect, Gia Matteo (Arielle Kebbel), who comes off as very flirty with Christian. Ana notices and very assertively tells Gia to back off and to pick a new design for the house.

On their way back to the city, Christian's bodyguard Taylor (Max Martini) informs him that someone is following them. Ana drives the car into the city and manages to evade the driver. They pull over somewhere and begin to have sex. Ana thrusts Christian very vigorously as he climaxes with no condom on.

Later, they review surveillance pictures of the driver, which appears to be a woman and not Jack. Christian orders his people to dig up everything they can on Jack. Afterwards, Ana offers to cut Christian's hair. When she goes to find scissors in his desk, she finds a gun in there. Christian tells her it belonged to Leila Williams (the woman that stalked them), and he didn't turn it in to the police because he didn't want Leila to get into more trouble than she was already in.

Ana goes out for a drink with Kate (Eloise Mumford), despite Christian wanting her home soon. Kate mentions that Elliot (Luke Grimes) said that police found a number of files on Jack's computer of the Grey family, which Christian never told Ana. Before going home, Ana notices she has six missed calls from Christian, but Sawyer told him where Ana was. When she gets home, Jack appears in her room and holds a knife to her throat, attempting to kidnap her. Sawyer and Prescott intervene and take Jack down before the police arrive.

After the incident, Christian is distant from Ana, as he felt he couldn't protect her because he didn't know where she was. He brings her into his pleasure room for some BDSM but he only teases her as a means of punishing her for breaking their trust. Christian says he was fearful because he dreamed that Ana was dead and that he blamed himself for not being able to help her.

To reconcile, Christian surprises Ana with a trip to Aspen with Kate, Elliot, Mia (Rita Ora), and Jose (Victor Rasuk). Upon arriving at their house, Christian plays the piano and starts to sing, which Elliot and Mia say they have never heard him do. Although they are enjoying their vacation, Ana has a nightmare that Jack has found her. She goes to eat ice cream in the kitchen before Christian goes to find her. Soon, they start licking the ice cream off of each other before getting down to the business.

While out dress-shopping with Kate and Mia, Ana notices Elliot out on the streets with Gia, whom Christian had mentioned was an ex-girlfriend of Elliot's. Later that night, the group attends a club where Elliot proposes to Kate, and she accepts. It turns out Gia was just helping Elliot find the perfect ring.

After the vacation, Ana is visited at work by a detective working on the case against Jack. He is set for a bail hearing that afternoon, and he is telling the authorities that he and Ana had a fling that he broke off, leading her to react angrily and get him fired by making up the assault story. Ana attends the bail hearing where the judge grants Jack bail at $500,000 due to his previously clean record. As he is being escorted out, he makes a smug face at Ana.

Ana visits the doctor and finds out she is pregnant. She later tells Christian, who reacts poorly and says he is not ready to be a father, even though Ana insists that they can try to make it work.

Christian later comes home drunk, and Ana takes him to bed. She sees his phone receive a text from Elena Lincoln (his former mistress). Ana sleeps in the pleasure room, feeling betrayed. The two of them argue about it in the morning, with Ana suggesting that if she has to, she will leave Christian for the sake of their child.

At work, Ana receives a call from Mia's phone. However, it's Jack, who was released on bail, and he is holding Mia hostage with the demand that Ana bring him $5 million within less than two hours, and if she tells Christian, Jack will return Mia in pieces.

Ana goes to the bank to withdraw the money. Christian calls her after hearing about this and thinks that Ana is trying to leave her, but she cannot explain herself. Jack calls Ana again and tells her he knows Christian is arriving at the bank because he has a driver outside the bank keeping an eye out. He orders Ana to give the driver her phone when she gets there. Ana gets the money but borrows the phone of one of the tellers. Before Christian can get to Ana, she is already getting in the car with the driver, Liz (Amy Price-Francis), an assistant from work that slept with Jack and is being blackmailed by him since he taped them. Sawyer informs Christian he saw Ana get in Liz's car and that she threw Ana's phone out, but it turns out Ana hid her own phone in the money bag and is allowing Christian to track her phone.

Ana arrives at the meet up with Jack. He proceeds to hit Ana and kick her in the stomach. Ana takes out Leila's gun and shoots Jack in the leg just as Christian and the cops arrive. Jack and Liz are arrested and Ana is taken to the hospital.

In the hospital, Christian is by Ana's bedside with his mother Grace (Marcia Gay Harden). Christian tells Grace he was worried Ana would leave him, but Grace is confident Ana would never do that. Ana soon wakes up, and Christian goes to her with tears in his eyes.

At home, Ana and Christian go over the case files on Jack. It turns out that Christian and Jack were both part of the same foster care group, and Christian wonders if he would have turned out like Jack if he didn't get adopted, but Ana assures him he wouldn't have. Ana also notices that the police found out where Christian's biological mother is buried. The two visit her grave and place flowers down.

Ana reflects on her whole journey with Christian and how they fell in love. Ana then goes to the pleasure room and invites Christian to join her.

The final scene is years later with Ana and Christian at their house with their son, and Ana is already pregnant with their second child.

An unidentified woman is engaged in a brutal fight with a man in a car and finally dispatches him with a shot to the head. Five years earlier, the same woman, Riley North, is working as a bank teller in Los Angeles struggling to make ends meet. Her husband Chris owns a failing mechanic shop. They have a ten-year-old daughter, Carly. Chris' friend tries to talk him into robbing Diego Garcia, a powerful drug lord. Chris turns him down, but not before Garcia has already discovered his involvement and ordered his men to make an example of him. Riley and Chris take Carly out for pizza and to a carnival for her birthday since no one showed up to her party. At the carnival, Carly orders peppermint ice cream. As the family walks to the car, Diego's men gun down her husband and daughter in a drive-by shooting. She is wounded, but survives.

In Los Angeles, Riley North and her husband Chris North go to a carnival to celebrate the birthday of their ten years old daughter Carly North. However, a friend of Chris had invited him to rob the powerful drug lord Diego Garcia and although Chris did not accept the offer, Diego discovers his involvement and orders his men to kill the North family. Chris and Carly are murdered and Riley survives, and Detective Stan Carmichael and Detective Moises Beltran arrest the criminals. Riley identifies them but a corrupt judge releases the criminals claiming lack of evidences. Riley vanishes and five years later, the criminals are found dead in the Carnival where Chris and Carly were killed. FBI Agent Lisa Inman goes to Los Angeles and explains that Riley robbed the bank where she worked and moved to Asia, where she became a fighter. Now she has returned to Los Angeles and robbed a gun store and is beginning her vengeance seeking out justice to her family. The police with the support of the FBI and Diego's gang are hunting her down.

Five long years earlier, the former Los Angeles bank teller, Riley North, was a doting mother of one, living a hand-to-mouth existence with her husband, Chris, and their ten-year-old daughter, Carly. Then, Chris, after toying with the dangerous idea of upgrading their lives, caught the eye of the pitiless local drug lord, Diego Garcia, and his murderous henchmen, who decided to make an example of him. The film opens with what appears to be a struggle happening in a car. Riley North (Jennifer Garner) is fighting a gangster who slashes her leg with his knife. She gains the upper hand and holds a gun under his chin. Riley asks if he remembers her, but he simply responds with a defiant "Fuck you!" before Riley blows his brains out.

Riley goes to an impoverished neighborhood where she hides out. She enters her van where she tends to her leg wound and has a drink. She goes through her belongings, and out falls a box of girl scout cookies.

Five years earlier.....

Riley is seen with her daughter Carly (Cailey Fleming) after getting into an argument with another girl scout's mother, Peg (Pell James), who complains to Riley that they were selling on their turf. Later, Riley and Carly stop to visit Riley's husband/Carly's father Chris (Jeff Hephner), who, unbeknownst to Riley, is arranging some kind of shady deal with his co-worker Mickey (Chris Johnson). Riley then goes to work at her bank and is told to close even though it's Carly's birthday.

Riley goes home for Carly's birthday party, only to find her and Chris disappointed because nobody showed up thanks to Peg, who spitefully threw a holiday party and invited all the other kids, but left a voicemail just to taunt Riley and Carly. Riley decides not to let Carly stay sad, so she suggests they all go to the Christmas carnival. As they head out, Chris calls Mickey to tell him he's backing out of the deal. The family leaves, and they are watched by a gangbanger. He calls his boss, cartel leader Diego Garcia (Juan Pablo Raba). Garcia is in the middle of torturing Mickey, who was apparently trying to steal from Garcia with Chris's help. Garcia orders his guy to follow Chris right before he decapitates Mickey.

The Norths enjoy their evening at the carnival and end the night with ice cream. As Chris and Carly walk back toward the car, three gangbangers drive up by them and shoot them. Riley gets shot as well, but she manages to make it to the bodies of her husband and daughter.

Riley wakes up in the hospital and meets with Detective Stan Carmichael (John Gallagher Jr). He tells Riley that the suspects have been apprehended, and he gives Riley the photo booth pictures she took with Chris and Carly.

Riley is brought in to identify the gangbangers. She recognizes all three of them by their face tattoos. Later, as she is packing up Chris and Carly's things, Riley is visited by an attorney, named Mr. Henderson (Michael Mosley), who attempts to bribe Riley into dropping her testimony against the criminals that he is representing. He also notices some medication that Riley is taking, but she forces him out of her house.

Riley is brought in to testify against the gangbangers, but Henderson tries to use the medication thing against her by saying her memory was hazy or that she is mentally unfit to remember them. Judge James Stevens (Jeff Harlan) rules against Riley's favor and lets the killers walk. Riley snaps and tries to attack the gangbangers, but she is tased by the bailiff, and the killers laugh in her face. Riley is being wheeled away to a psych ward, and Carmichael hops in to join her in the ambulance, but she grabs an oxygen tank, whacks Carmichael across the head, and then runs out of the ambulance, disappearing.

In the present day, Carmichael meets with his partner, Moises Beltran (John Ortiz), as they find the bodies of the three killers hung upside down from a ferris wheel.

Riley goes to the home of Judge Stevens and ties him up after beating him and nailing his hands to the table. She makes sure he remembers her, and she tells him that the rope he's tied up with is explosive. Riley hops on a bus and then detonates the rope, blowing Stevens up. On the bus, Riley meets a young boy, and she gives him a toy that she swiped from Stevens' home. She notices the boy's father is drunk, and as they get off the bus, the man enters a liquor store while his son waits outside. Riley pistol-whips the guy and orders him to not ever drink again and to be a good father, or she will find him since she saw his ID and remembers his address. She then forces the clerk to give her his car, but she at least gives him money for it.

Carmichael and Beltran meet with fellow Detective Inman (Annie Ilonzeh), as they suspect Riley to be behind these killings, seeing as how it is the five-year anniversary of Chris and Carly's murders. After the trial, Riley robbed her bank and stole military-grade guns from a warehouse before going off the grid. Carmichael then gets a phone call telling him about Stevens' death, as well as the fact that Henderson was found face down in his pool. This basically confirms for them that Riley was involved.

Riley drives to a pinata store and kills the two men outside before entering. A firefight ensues, but Riley kills all the men inside except for one, Marvin (John Boyd). He later reports on what happened to Garcia, and Marvin gets killed for spilling his guts to Riley.

In order to get rid of Riley, Garcia arranges for his men to lure her to a warehouse. She finds a bomb there and hides just as Garcia's men detonate it, obliterating the whole building. Riley gets out through the sewers and steals someone's car so she can go after the guys. She catches up, kills them, and then manages to drive to Garcia's home. Riley kills most of the men in there before making it to Garcia himself. She has his gun turned on him, but before she can pull the trigger, Garcia's daughter (who looks about the same age as Carly when she died) walks in. Garcia stabs Riley in the side and gets out with his daughter and his men.

Riley flees and finds Peg's home. She punches Peg in the face and barges in to tend to her wounds. Riley has Peg tied up, pointing out that Peg's husband left her for another woman. Riley threatens Peg and even makes her piss herself before she leaves her there.

Inman travels to the poor neighborhood to continue her investigation. She learns from one of the men there that the crime rate in that area went down because of the "angel" looking out for them. She is then met by Carmichael in that area. When she comes close to realizing somebody in the police department is tipping off Garcia, Carmichael reveals himself to be dirty, and he shoots Inman dead.

Garcia meets with Carmichael in the area. Riley finds Inman's body and takes her phone to make a live video that hits the news. As Garcia and his men gather, Riley exposes Carmichael and Garcia for the scumbags they are, and she invites the police and the news to that area. Garcia then calls Riley out using a walkie-talkie and orders her to come out or he will execute a little girl from that neighborhood. Riley surrenders and approaches Garcia. He starts to beat Riley up just before the police show up. Thinking Carmichael set him up, Garcia shoots him dead. Garcia's men are arrested as he tries to flee, but Riley catches up to him. She holds her gun at him, and the police have their weapons drawn on her. Beltran begs Riley not to shoot Garcia, and he taunts her saying that she'll be in prison longer than him. Riley says "We're not going to prison", and she shoots him in the head, and the police return fire. Riley manages to flee, but Beltran says he knows where she's going.

The cops find Riley at the cemetery at Chris and Carly's grave. She breaks down weeping as Beltran approaches her. Riley feels she is ready to die there, but Beltran says otherwise.

Riley is in the hospital, and the news reports on how civilians see Riley as some kind of heroic vigilante, but the police say she will answer for her crimes. Beltran walks into Riley's room and slips a key into her hand, letting her remove her handcuffs and escape once again.
